Sherlock hadn't even thought about the kiss when John had done it. Yes, this was all very new to them, but they had already fallen into an easy pattern of affection. It was only when he noticed Greg's reaction that he stiffened up and felt the hot burn of embarrassment on his cheeks.

He shook his head and looked to John. "If that is the easiest way to find the others, then that is what we should do. Gavin can set a perimeter around Baker Street, and of course I will be here to protect you." He looked over at Excalibur, then back to John.
