"Bed." Sherlock said, with a voice that brooked no argument. He helped John to his feet, wrapping John's arm around his shoulder.

He half drug, half carried John into their bedroom, where he laid the man down, then pulled the covers up over him.

"Sleep." he said, in the same tone. "We can talk later." While it was important to find the other Knights, John was in no state to do anything right now but rest.

"I'll check in on you later, John." He gently ran his hand through the man's sweaty hair and kissed his forehead, a chaste, soft kiss.

"Sleep." He repeated, before he turned the light off and left, closing the door behind him.
