Sherlock frowned at the huff. Had he said something wrong? It was true, there was no good place for even one person to lay, much less two, with the mess that they had made together. Okay, it was mostly John, but he had helped.
He sighed and let John go, then gathered up the sheets- happt to see that by some miracle nothing had gotten to the mattress, and threw them in the larger bin in the kitchen. They wouldn't have fit in the small bin in the bedroom.
He was sore and sticky, but John had left in a bit of a huff, so he decided to let John get a shower by himself. Instead he busied himself with finding and putting on his second best sheets. John didn't need to know that those had been his favorite, though Sherlock still didn't regret a moment.
