"J-just... l--let me lean on you J-j-ohn.." He says after the cleaning. He felt much better, cleaned and relaxed, but still sore and wring out and sore and very, very happy.
He used John to lean on while he got up, and John dried him off a bit. He limped a bit towards the bed and laid down with another long sigh. It felt great to lay down, and he almost immediately started to feel sleep take over him. He blinked slowly and with the last of his effort, pulled the covers up over himself.
