Martha had a sad smile on his face. "He would have been over the moon." She sighed, and looked at the child one more time.
:"I know you need to rest. I'm sure you will want to get back to your home in London soon. I will visit when you guys have settled in a bit and have had time to get used to having a child. It is a big life change. You won't get much sleep for the next 6 months or so."
She leaned down and kissed William, and then John. "Congratulations both of you. Keep my grandchild safe." She smiled and stepped through the portal, and it disappeared.
