"Awwww.. how come? She can sleep in my bed. And I can take the couch. Or we can have a sleepover! Pitch a tent and sleep in sleeping bags and use torches for a campfire!"

Sherlock shook his head. "You have school, William. You need to sleep in your own bed so you can get enough rest. Your Papa and I will discuss the arrangements. Now, it's time to do your home work. Kiss your Papa and start working at the kitchen table. I'll be in a moment to help you, if you need it."

"Okay, daddy." He sounded crestfallen, but he kissed John and crawled off the bed. Sherlock ruffled his hair as he went.

"Daddy!"

"You're a good kid, William. And we love you. Now go do your homework." William ran out of the room to start working on homework. Only then did Sherlock look at John.

"I'm capable, you know." He said simply.
