Sherlock couldn't help but feel a bit offended . His mother was insinuating that he was incapable of taking care of his family, and that was something that he simply wouldn't abide. Either John was going to tell her not to come, or he would, and he would be much less nice about it.
"I have been keeping myself safe, despite the sun, for over 400 years. Nothing about that has magically changed because you have become pregnant again." It was stated as concern, but to Sherlock, it was just another thin veiled attempt to justify why she should come.
Despite all of that, he did carefully get onto the bed. "John." He said softly, knowing that he had to keep John calm. He didn't want to get into a fight. "Please inform her that she doesn't have to come. I have been fine taking care of you these last 4 months, and I will be fine for the next 4 as well."
If John insisted that she come, he wouldn't put up more of a fight, but he wanted it know that she was not needed or welcomed.
