BBC's "Sherlock" ([personal profile] seaweed_writes) wrote in [personal profile] ihadabadday 2019-07-08 07:44 pm (UTC)

Sherlock was at the kitchen table, which was now covered with papers, all filled with his messy scrawl. There were charts about growth rates of twins, complications, weight and height ratios, and every other conceivable thing that he could learn about having twins. There was also a pile of printouts that Sherlock had made about possible houses that they could move into, arranged apparently by price and size.

His head shot up and he was immediately on point as soon as John walked in. He was hyper vigilant, and noticed that John was rubbing at his back.

"We need a new mattress. Why didn't you tell me?" He could tell from where John was rubbing at his back, and the slightly stooped posture that this was a sleeping issue.

"As soon as your mother arrives, I will have another mattress delivered." He was already back on his laptop, looking for mattresses for their size bed.
