The kiss was a little surprising, but not unwelcome. Not only did they still hardly know each other, but he wasn't even sure that fishmen kissed. Maybe he had seen two human doing it before? Sherlock had no idea.

The water was still a little cloudy when John splashed it around to moisten himself, but he came back quickly, as Sherlock now knew that he would.

Sherlock chuckled, he was still lightly hesitant with his speech again, and it was rather endearing.

"Yes." Sherlock said with a warm smile. "It was quite nice, for me at least. I hope it was the same for you. If.. you've never done this before, you may be a bit .. sore. later.. not sure if you know what that means.. you might hurt a little, but I really am not sure when it comes to fish.. er... merpeople I guess?
