Sherlock didn't say anything, he just held onto John until he fell back asleep, then he gently got up and went back to the throne. He was a bit surprised that John had gone back to sleep. As a god, of course Sherlock didn't need to sleep. Maybe as a demi god John would still have to give into his mortal needs? HIS John had slept in the couple of years that they had been together, so it would make sense.
