John kept Sherlock in his arms, holding and rocking him. He kept his power flowing over the many. This was one of the few times he did not keep to his routine. He stayed awake and focused on protecting Sherlock from prying eyes. He was grateful the two winters were not back to back.

But he would do anything for Hades. For Sherlock. He would protect him at the cost of his own life. Which he would hate to do. But he would do it.
